Take Time To Enjoy The Small Things

I'm going to call this one "The Babysitter".

I have been M.I.A. from Ranch Table Talks for awhile. Hoofta. The only analogy I can think of is that life has been a roller coaster ride. Just when I think things are slowing down and I might get my feet under me, off we go again! It has been a wild few weeks, but also very enjoyable. It has been so nice to be outside enjoying this great weather, and not stuck behind a desk. And I'm not going to lie, not being pregnant is pretty dang awesome. Plus I have a cute little guy to cuddle and love on. Life is good. Our schedule is full and ever evolving, but we are surviving. I know there are many of you out there who can relate.

The spring is so busy for ranchers. This is particularly true if you have young children, and even more so if you have school age children. It gets wild! But I think it is also the most enjoyable time of the year, at least for me.

My advice is to take time to enjoy the small things. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in being "busy", that all we can focus on is that never ending to-do list, or that jam packed schedule. Don't forget, your choices on how you spend your time are your responsibility. So make sure you're fitting in some time to do things that make life enjoyable. Also make sure you're taking some time to find gratitude in the small day to day things. If you'd like something tangible to help you, I suggest writing down three to five things you are grateful for each day.

Much love,

Tara
