It is my opinion that there is nothing on God's green earth as great as a good kid's horse. Seriously, nothing. This old girl, who we affectionately call Miss Dainty, has taught Ty so much in his few years of riding. She is so patient with him and does whatever he asks of her. She's been around.....around rodeos, around ranches, around multiple generations of kids. But she'll spend her last years as his horse, and I think there is something so beautiful about that.
Watching them enjoy each other is one of my favorite pastimes. We tested bulls today and their job was to follow the bulls out of the chute, down the alleyway, and into the corral. It was an important job and they both did great. So this post is dedicated to Miss Dainty. She is an important part of our family and the love we all have for her is immeasurable.
